Staya wins Listed Dragon Stakes at Sandown

Tattersalls Craven Breeze-Up purchase Staya followed up her taking debut win at Yarmouth with a most creditable close fifth in the Group-2 Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot and continued her progression showing speed and tenacity to get her head in front close home in the Listed Coral Dragon Stakes at Sandown. Continuing a fine run for her owners KHK Racing, George Scott’s filly should have a major say in the leading juvenile fillies’ Group sprints for the remainder of the season.
